It is not a space issue...there is more to be considered than that in any tang mixing thread. They are similar body shapes and can be aggressive toward one another really regardless of space. Another thread, case in point:

if should work but keep an eye open to see if they fight. they probably will fight the first day or 2 but it should stop within a few days.
