I know you shouldn't keep Purple and Yellow tangs (or similar tangs) together and that there are exceptions to every rule, but are there other tangs that are incompatible?
Tank would be a 210g (72X24X29).
my friend has a 220 and has 8 tangs.yellow, purple, orange shoulder, sailfin and i cant remember the rest but i need to email him and i will ask .
its all about size and introduction.
i have an achilles and a purple and have no problem.

he emailed me and he has 6 tangs in there right now
dussumieri
vlamingi
hippo
desjardni
fowleri
yellow
and he is adding a black soon from his qt
hope i spelled them right.
alot depends on tank size and how they are introduced.
i had 4 tangs in a 90 for a while they were fine.
then i went to my 150 and my anenome nuked the tank and only my purple made it and i still have him.

Odd numbers if you add them all at the same time.

Yep....2 is bad....3 is good (or at least better chance of success)...and so on.
I have three which has worked out perfectly. A yellow (the largest), powder blue and a Kole (smallest). I have had no issues and introduced the powder blue last.
