I am interested in having 2+ tangs in my new 155 reef. The problem, however, is that people tell me that you have to introduce tangs last, and at the same time. Yet I've seen tanks with so many it makes me wonder if they did that also. Another thing is that people say tangs cannot be kept together. I need to know if it's possible to add tangs seperately, or if it's a MUST that they be added togather. Because if so, I'll need two qt, and I'd prefer no to. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Tangs don't always need to be added together, but there are certain types that you'll have better luck if they are. Also, you can have several tangs together provided there is plenty of room, they are well fed, and you don't mix tang families without knowing the possible outcomes.
Zebrasoma and Acanthurus are the two types of tangs more so than any other that you could have aggressiveness or extraterritoriality. With a 155g I'd say either stick to one from each of these families or add them in 3's (tough to do in anything smaller than 180g successfully, though). If you're going to get 1 acanthurus and 1 zebrasoma, I'd add these together, to reduce the fighting between them, because they can both take on territory and defend it harshly.
All other tangs are fairly benign and you shouldn't see any real issues with. Max I'd go with that size tank is maybe 3 tangs total, but you can definitely do 2 and they don't have to be added at the same time if they're not acanthurus or zebrasoma families.
