Tang dying...

so i just added a medium powder brown to a 90g with a large yellow tang and a xtra large blue tang and the yellow is messing him up already but he's eating just fine at feeding time (the powder brown) and even when im not feeding he's feeding off the algae...but he has a cut on the tail and the bottom fin...will he make it in my tank??

probably not ..you have 3 tangs in a 48" tank this makes their territory to small for their liking..

Welcome to the boards! You have way too many tangs in such a small tank. He got cut from the scalpel on the caudal fin of one of the other tangs. Did you buy all of these fish this large?

Hm, not exactly true. Are you talking about the same breed or shaped tang?

None of those tangs will work will that size tank let alone all three. If you really want a tang go for the smaller ones. like koles chevron things like that.

I would say (for the price also ) that chevron tangs are NOT for a beginner or anything close to it...
