Is this really a Pacific Sailfin Tang??? I've bought one the other day from a LFS and they said it's a Red Sea Sailfin. I'm totally lost!! Help.....

hey well there r two kind the red sea and the pacific when there young they both look some what the same when they get big thats when u can tell a big diffrence but when there young they look about the same i have a pacific

the one in the picture is a pacific sailfin tang, a red sea sailfin tang looks like this:

Thanks for the response guys! I've checked and recheck several sites and found no conclusive information. Sit your right about the two being the same as juvenile. I have this gut feeling that the LFS rip me off......... Hey Eel, thanks for the reply as well. Yeah that's is what the red sea sailfin looks like when it's an adult. That is the kinda of picture that attracted me into getting a small/juvenile so it can adapt more easily in an aquarium environment.
