The 55g should be fine for a qt for most tangs. If your going to go with a blue hippo, pay the extra money to get a medium to larger sized one. They are much hardier than the smaller ones. For a 125, a blue hippo should be o.k.,but I recommend upgrading in a few years as they do get pretty big. Mine is about 7 inches now but I've had him for 3 years. Just stay away from nasos, unicorns, and a few others as they WILL outgrow a 125. All tangs are reef safe, and it is a good idea to add the tang last to your tank.

Thank you. I thought about adding him last. So setup new tank, cycle. Move others, order tang place in 55g. Then after few weeks add tang to new tank.
Will 2 tang be too many. Would a yellow and blue hippo get along or fight often. Mainly just want tang or two, 2 clown and few chromi with soft coral.

Sounds good, you should be fine with two but no more than that. A yellow and a hippo would go good together, just add the yellow after the blue hippo and you should be o.k.
