tang with a brown spoty lump

ok i had my tang in qt for 2 weeks and i took him out of qt and he has been in the main tank for a week. about a day ago i noticed a lump on one side and on the other side in the same spot it is brown and sticking out. Can anyone help me get him back to normal.

can i ask what you are feeding him and how often?

i am feeding him spirulina 3 times a day and i have dried seeweed hanging in ht etank all tghe time. could i be overfeeding him.

i think i overfeed him because i cut back on the feeding and its going down.
