Tang with "pimples"

Yesterday I was looking at my tang and it looked like she had maybe ich starting on her nose. Only one small fuzzy area about the size of a large pin head. Today it is gone but she now has bumps under her skin poking out. A few have a whitish "head" to them.
SG=1.021
Temp=80
ammo=0
nitrite=0
nitrate=less than 10
ph=8.2
Any suggestions at what this might be and how to treat? I will be going to the lfs soon and ask there too. I don't have a QT and really not able to set one up. I have a FOWLR. No inverts, except some snails and hermits.
Thanks

The lfs said it was ich in the early stages. He suggested that I do a freshwater dip (however, I was unable to catch the fish and did not want to continue for fear of stressing her too much) and to add Kick-Ich. This product is reef safe, invert safe and it does not contain copper. Anyone else, ever use this product?

Its not very reliable med but since you can't do anything else there isn't much choice.
Are the pimples raised and size of salt grains? Have you noticed if the fish is scratching against rocks?

Yes, they are raised bumps some have a white top, others are just bumps. I have not noticed her rubbing on anything. She has a good appetite and I have started her on garlic in the food.
