Can you put a purple tang and a yellow tang with a Naso tank in a 120 fo tank?

The Naso has been in for a while, and we want to add the others later on. Not a good idea?

Yellow and Purple wont get along. Besides naso and 1 of the others will need room 2 swim. So I wouldnt get both, but it is your tank.

I think this is hit or miss, I had both in my old 90 and they were fine together, they did their own thing.

The main problem as mentioned is the tank is too small for three. The naso can get pretty big. If you did not have the naso you could try the purple and yellow. There are plenty of tanks out there with purple and yellows together and powder blues with achilles, and purples or yellows with sailfins. Most people telling you you cant mix same shape tangs are not speaking from experience or what they have seen but rather what they have read. The keys to mixing tangs is a large tank, plenty of rock work, adding the tangs at the same time and keep them close to the same body size so most confrontations turn into stand offs rather then all out brawls.The truth is all tangs will fight at first if introduced at different times or one is much larger then the others.

Yes that can definately happen, but could have happened with any tang. Did you read the whole statement. You need to add them at the same time. You take a chance adding any tang(or fish for that matter) to a tank that has an established tang in it.

By the way if you tried it in your 75, that is too small for two tangs anyway.
