I want info on powder blue and blue hippo tangs. What do they eat? How hardy are they? How big do they get?

Jim27,
Hippo (or blue) tangs are frequently seen in groups. They should be placed in an established tank. They do well in groups of 2-3. Once established in a tank they are pretty hardy. Feed them lots of vegetable matter. Make sure they have hiding places; they love to sit in between coral spikes and sometimes you think they are stuck!!
Initially they can be shy but get bolder with time. They are available as tank-raised (not tank-bred) specimens which I think are much more hardy. They are also used to living in the aquarium setting. You might want to see if your lfs can locate some because they are worth it in the long run.

Your welcome jim,
Blonde Naso Tangs are so hardy. I used to have 1 before my tank was an aggressive tank, but it was to mean, so I had to return him. But usualy blonde naso tangs are nice, and they are extremely hardy.
