my tank is 4ft long, what kind of tang can I get?
in the tank i also have a foxface, 3 OC clowns, 1 purple psuedochromis, 1 coral beauty
the foxface is very skiddish, he is never all yellow and I have had him for weeks (only seen him all yellow 2 times, then when he saw me, his top half turns dark)

it sounds like your tank is maxed out on fish. especially for a fish like a tang. i am jsut telling you from experience, tangs do horribly in a 55 gallon.

id say possibly a yellow tang, but with a foxface you are just about maxed out as that is a tang. the purple psuedochromis can get extremly mean and aggressive also

A foxface isn't a tang...but will eventually out grow your 70 display. With the livestock you currently have I'd be cautious about adding any tang...With less livestock there are a few that could work....but not in your current set-up.

nm reef,
if i got rid of 1 OC clown and the purple psuedochromis could I add?
and what if I threw in the foxface, can you give me some suggestions on what I could add

If you got rid of one of something i would ditch the pseudo, they are very aggressive and can even whoop bigger (more expensive) fishies. so drop him and they add a yellow tang or even better in my experience a sail fin tang. or even a kobe tang.
