tangs

I have a 200 gallon reef tank and it has been set-up since novemeber and I'm slowly adding fish. I am wanting to get some tangs. I would like to get a Yellow tang and possibly a naso tang or a kole tang, what would be the better choice? Is the Naso or Kole tang more aggressive?

I HAVE NASO AND I THINK THEY ARE THE BEST. MINE IS VERY MELLOW HE IS ABOUT 9 INCHES LONG YOU NEED A GOOD SIZE TANK. IF THE TANK IS BIG YOU CAN HAVE A FEW

I agree with trojan. You will be fine with either of your circumstances. With a tank your size, the only problem I would see is if you let the yellow establish a territory before the others. Try and add them together, if not the naso first.

I agree with most posts - add the zebrasoma genus last ( Yellow, or purple, scopas) these are real territorial and should always be the last fish added to your tank.
Naso's are a good first, a hippo and maybe a sailfin, then your Yellow or Purple. With the tank size you have you can have a real nice mix.

the yellow is supposed to be 1 of the more aggressive i agree on adding him last. i do have a kole and love it he is very docile. and i have firefish, chromises, cardinals no problems at all. the only one he squabbles with is the alge blenny, but it seems not to bother him to much they just pick but no harm is done
