If I put a purple and powder blue or hepatus tang in at the same time in a 75 gal. reef tank is it likely for them to fight?

Probably not.....they're different body shapes. Is one much larger than the other?

I planed on buying a purple tang which is 80$ and a small hepatus is which is usually 60$ but small ones are 23.99$. And if I got a powder blue tang it would be small too. The purple tang would be about an inch bigger than the other.

Sounds good to me-- are you getting these fish via internet?? My lfs wants $175 for the purple (which is why I never got one) If you are-- quarantine at least three weeks. I wiped out after neglecting to quarantine my internet fish long enough. Good Luck-enjoy your purple -- I'm jealous!

NO... I happen to have a really good saltwater fish store near me so I buy all my fish from them. All the fish I buy from this store are already querantined there. I just found out the purple tang and powder blue tang I will get will be about the same size.

About 3 months we ordered a purple tang on this site with a inverebrate package and it was only 49.00, but if you don't need the clean up I guess it could be costly. We love our tang very colorful. Just order the cheapest package and you can add a couple of fish at no cost. That is better than the stores.

Kris we ordered our Purple Tang on this site along with a clean-up crew and the fish was only 49.00 with no shipping charge and the fish is beautiful and doing fine. You might want to try this.
