is it possible to keep a yellow tang and a hippo tang together in the same tank?

Everyone else will probably tell you no, but I did and it worked fine in my 75. I added the yellow last on advice of my LFS.

I haven't had a problem with mixing tangs. Usually if they are juvenile and you add them they will get along!!

those 2 species should get along fine, but I would not ad them both tho a 100 gallon. I would want a bigger tank for them

i have a -scopas tang, a hippo tang and a ring tailed surgeon and they all get along fine in my 180g

Add them at the same time or the hippo first and yellow last. Also need at least a 6 foot long tank. Anything less will not work.

exactly, 180 maybe, 55 definitely not(unfortunately)

Mine get along great in a 75g . They seem to hang together and hardly ever seperate . They were both added at the same time . I am in process of building a 180g and they will be moved together in the 180 .....
