I don't have any experience with the tank raised catalina gobies, but I'm guessing that they would be a little hardier than wild caught - so, even though they still may be better off in cooler waters, they are probably able to withstand a little bit more than wild caughts would.
That said, I've seen wild caught catalinas kept in tanks up to 80 degrees for at least a year, I think. I know the purists will say they need cold water, but I'm not really sure how adaptable they are or aren't.
