Evendently the owned has been rather active on some of the other boards,, Using different Board names to talk up his product...
Rather Cheesy Business practice.
Also on another Forum there were seveal treads of unhappy customers.
Plus if you are in Ft Lauderdal, then Toronto is pretty darn Far away...
PM me if you would like the links to the other threads

It's been around at least 2 years, but has a badddd reputation on the other boards includiing 2 HORROR stories with Fish dying et all. On top of it he is suppose to be in Toronto. Quite far from FL or CA

The other place im considering is in canada also

cant we make anything in america??

Ive heard some good things about glasscages and their price is great but ive also read some horror stories on the other boards. Also, they only have a 90 day warranty. I might not even have water in the tank for 90 days.
Dont know what to do. Any suggestions???

Any thing I have seen about GC has been posative but I have not looked into it all that much.
myfishtank.com is one I've seen out there don't know much about prices however. same with
Aquariumsforyou.com
and
midwestcustomaquariums.com.
They have done several tanks on another board including a gem of a 1700 gal Stingray tank (look it up of Reef central)
Then There is Tenacor. com but the verdict seems to be SPENDY!
and
acrylicaquariums.com

Yeah, gc seems to have great responses on this board from some people who know what they are talking about. The other boards really blast them. I guess any company has some unhappy people. I like gc but the 90 day warranty is scary. Why if you believe in your product would it only be 90 days?? Its a lot of $ for a 90 day warranty. Now im wondering if i shoud forget the eurobracing and starphire glass and get an AGA here locally. I can get the tank and stand for less than what the custom tank will cost. For the extra cash i could get the stand, and sump/fuge.
Dont know what to do??? need to make a decision soon, REAL soon, if i wanna do this.

As Someone said somewhere else, I don't know where. It is not a lack of faith in thier product, just a lack of faith in the person installing thier product. And the Stand it is being put on. I'm sure there have been quite a few Yahoo's in the past the bought a tank, Don't know what a level is the tank twisted under the weight and from beinging in some wierd position and it leaked. 90 days seems resonable to me for a tank cause when dealing with large aquariums, there are just WAY to many Variables.
By the Way What Size tank are you looking to get, I still have my 55 gal AGA and I love it. I've moved it 2 times once from florida and once with in NH, and no cracks no leaks no problems. So if you ask me AGA is not bad at all. If you are so bent on Euro Bracing, get an AGA take off thier top bracing and silicone on your own eurobracing. That can't be that hard bet you PSUsocr1 Or phixer could talk you through that option. As for Starphire glss, well I don't know much about that.
One thing about AGA is I beleave all of thier bottoms are tempered glass... NO drilling. I think people have had success going through the Back however. Good Luck :)

I agree, but every company has some yahoo putting the tamk on whatever stand but they still give a 1 year or more warranty. 90 days seems way to short, like i said, i may not even have water in it by then. I gotta get a stand built, sump/fuge, etc...
Wanna get a 225g, but now looks like a 180g.

I understand, sometimes its a good idea to go directly to a reputable plastics fabricator and tell them what you want. A good one will warranty their work and have a list of customers for references. Often times the quality is better because their not mass produced.
