I will be changing from a 150 reef to a 240 reef, couple of questions the 240 is coming with 400 lbs of live rock, the rock has been out of the tank for a month or 2. People told me that the color will come back. Is this true and how long. Also I have 175 lbs of lr in my tank now the corline alge is spreding should I place my rock in the middle of the new rock to get the alge to spread. I will keep all 150 gal of water and add 90 will that create a problem for my fish and corols, and will be running 5 175 20k mh is that enough lightning pleas help :notsure: also I have 2 1200 maxi jet air pumps should I get to more or will the 2 be fine, and should I run 2 heaters the tank is 8 feet long thanks

The dry rock will cause another cycle to start. You won't want to put critters in there until it's done.

The rock was green and moist cause it was in a 55 gal drum shoul I put underground filter in the new tank I have one in the 150 gal. Or are they not needed cause the rock was moist will it still recycle the tank thanks

Don't use the underground filter!!!!!!!
You could cook the rock and start from scratch.....Yes the coloration will come back with correct conditions and time on your part.....400lbs of rock sounds like a ton of rock to stuff in the tank......Don't really know if you'll want to use half of that depending what your actual intentions are for keeping in the tank.....
As far as lighting your going to need to upgrade......175's just aren't going to cut it IMO.....The 175's aren't going to penetrate deep enough IMO, and with you wanting to use 20k probably not a good choice in that wattage....You might want to look at getting 250's at least.......
What are you running as far as skimmer? What about main circulation pump? Your going to need more than the 2 PH's you have....You might want to look at the Seio's very nice setup and cheaper than the Tunze's.........You might want to also consider adding a CL for additional flow in the tank as well......
