Tank Cleaning

Hello,
I was wondering what you all think about leaving the back wall of the tank uncleaned, and just seeing where the growth takes it. I thought it might make a nice natural background eventually.
Is there any danger to the tank in doing this? I have a feeling my cleaners would never let it get to that point anyway, but i was just curious.

I think most people leave the back alone. Before long it should be covered with coralline which IMO is a nice looking back ground for a reef.

I left mine black and the coraline is growing in big round spots! It looks looks nice and the Turbos eat any algae that does grow on it.
