Tank crack on top... need advice

I need some advice from someone who has some knowledge in construction, tank building/repair or acrylic work. My new 450 gallon tank has a crack going across the top, (see pics below). Can anyone tell me if the structure will be compromised? How can I reinforce this? Need advice please. Thanks in advance.

This may sound like an idiotic request, but can you post a pic a little further back?? I see the crack, but I cannot tell where on the tank it is located being that the pic focuses on the actual crack and not the location.
I see you said top, but I'm kinda wanting to see where on the top...

first of all, see if you cant figure out why it cracked ... stress or droppage.. you can fill it, brace it, then reinforce it with a plate of acrylic using weld on... that should hold...

I'm guessing that someone grabbed the tank by the top when we moved it.
