I have a 125 gal tank that I just got set up I have approx 120 lbs of crushed coral /aragonite and approx 40 lbs of live rock from my smaller tank.I didnt want to move all of my things out of my other tank to soon.I also have two damsels to get the cycle started. My question is what do I need to do to keep a check on my cycle,to make sure its going the way it should. Its been setup for about a week now.I just want to keep a good check on things so I can get this tank up and running with no problems. Please offer all advice I will appreciate all of your help. Thanks in advance!!!

If you want to monitor your cycle an amonia, nitrite, and nitrate test is needed. A hydrometer and a pH test kit are good things to have also. HTH

wow! that sounds like a lot of CC. how deep is your bed? is there a specific reason you used so much?
I would recommend adding about twice that ammount of LR, for a reef tank. also, i may have overlooked it, but a couple PHs pointed at the LR will help your biofiltration.
watch your 'trites when they go to 0 and 'trates appear, your first cycle has ended and you can add your first hardy fish. be patient and dont rush things.
