I am ready to add something to my tank but I am worried about what will eat my baby brittle starfish. I have three that came on my live rock and lived through the cycle. It is a 10 gallon tank btw with crushed coral and 10 pounds of live rock. Thanks

I hate to break your bubble.
but if i were you i'd replace the crushed coral with live sand,CC has been known for a big nitrate factor, you can replace that very easy with (Caribean Live Sand) this type of sand has bacteria already it. you'll be much better off with it.

There are many people that use crushed coral with no nitrate problems . Proper cleaning is they key with c.c .

I prefer sand for looks anyhow , but telling someone to dump the $ they just invested in c.c. is wrong . C.C. is hit and miss for nitrates just like some salts[I.O.] .
