Either would be fine, you could even do both. Naso's are great fish, mine is very docile in my tank and will brush against my hand.

What other fish do you have in with your Naso, and in what size tank?

Help! My Naso that i purchased yesterday is not eating. The fish store i bought him from recommended "Formula A". I fed him that and he swim away from it. Then I put some frozen "Mysis shrimp" in there and he did the same thing. What should i do...at this rate i can honestly see myself coming home from work in a few days and finding him dead at the bottom of my tank getting ate by my wrasse.

More than likely he's just still acclimating, but you can try this:
My fish will not eat flake or pellets, nor will I feed it to them anymore. Try a frozen food made for herbivores/omnivores. My fish really like Emerald Entree made by San Francisco Bay Brand. My fish love it. You can try to entice it to eat by adding some garlic extract (should be available at your LFS). You should also be supplementing with seaweed strips (try to have available as much as possible. My Naso won't touch Green Seaweed, loves Brown Algae strips and is okay with Red, all three have garlic added to them.
Also, I always add vitamins to my fish food.
Is the fish acting normal other than not eating?

Yeah, se seems to be acting normal. I did notice him nipping at the rocks and liverock within the tank..im assuming and hoping he's eating the algae from them...I actually came across some seaweed strips at the LFS today. I noticed they had it in Green, Brown, and red. i wasn't sure which one to get, although the guy at the store recommened the green one. I got the live brine shrimp instead. Now i regret it because he didn't go for that either. So which color seaweed would you recommend?

Your LFS is steering you in the wrong direction I'm afraid. IMO, the green is not the best to get (see below). Live Brine Shrimp is a snack to a tang and most fish for that matter. It does not have much nutritional value, but it will fill them up for a short while if he eats it (my naso doesn't but the sailfin does). Feeding live brine as a source of food instead of a treat is like feeding a five year old nothing but candy.
If he's grazing on the LR, that's a very good sign, but he needs to start eating substantial food. These tangs need to eat a lot at this size. My Naso is a pig! I suggest seaweed strips and a good frozen food made for tangs and angels, like I said earlier, I prefer San Francisco Bay Brand Emerald Entree and then I add some vitamins.
Red and Brown seaweed/algae strips have more nutrients than the Green seaweed does. My tanks won't touch the green stuff, but my dwarf angels will so I usually just mix it up. They all love the brown one made my Ocean Nutrition, so I usually always offer brown and then mix up red and green with it depending on the day (I have three clips in my tank). Luckily, all my fish will eat from a seaweed clip, if yours does not, you may need to wrap the seaweed strip with a rubberband to a rock in your tank to make it look like it is naturally growing.

Yeah, before i went to sleep the day before yesterday i noticed him picking at the red algae i had on the clip....i came home from work and it was almost gone. I was soo relieved, i thought he would die from not eating. Im guessing maybe he was initially afraid because he didn't know what the clip was that was holding the algae.

Good to hear! They do take some time to acclimate. Thankfully, mine accepted food immediately, but I also knew who had raised him. I know a lot of people have trouble getting them to eat in the beginning and accepting the clip. Once they find it, that's it.
I do still suggest trying to get him eating something else, the strips are good, but it's not enough.
Good luck
