Tank maturity for anemonies

As with anything else it is attention to details. I know a lot of people are anti anemone because they are difficult to keep, but salt water fish in general are difficult to keep .... so if you have a healthy and stable tank and have done some research and feel like you can then start researching which one would work. Slow and steady wins the race so to speak ....
I had a 7th grade science teacher who kept an anemone in a 20 gallon tank on crushed coral bed for three years - and she would transport it home over breaks and keep it in a ten gallon tank with the two clown fish ..... and it survived and split twice ... but she also had a room full of people who tested the water daily and did precise water changes, etc. ....
