As many of you guys may know already, I am a 14 year ols aquarist with a 55 gallon tank. I have decided on a FO setup. Here are my plans:
55 gallon tank
Skimmer
Southdown Sand DSB plenum
coral skeletons (no LR, tank is copper-fied)
1 Snowflake Moray Eel
1 juvi Picasso Trigger
1 Antennata Lion
1 Maroon Clown (or a pair)
Would like a Marine Betta
Will cycle w/ damsels....which will be removed or fed to the others when the cycle is finished. Any other suggestins for fish, or is this stocked? I know the trigger will get big, but I am recieving him for free as a gift from the Pet Den, where I work. I will give him away when he hits 9". (hes about 1" max now, came from ERI's captive rearing program.....would cost me 55 bucks, but the Pet Den is giving him to me cuz i've been volunteering there for 6 years....

A 9" fish is way to big for a 55g. I don't know all the sizes of those fish but it sounds like it might be overcrowded to me. I would cycle with dead shrimp because the damsels might just die or pick on each other so much they die.

that is alot of fish for a 55 with no lr. are you only going to have a skimmer? you will have 58'' of full grown fish not counting the trigger. those fish are messy eaters . imho i would forget about the Maroon Clowns and Marine Betta. just my .02
