For any help, thanks in advance. My problem is a just had a 135gal. glass tank leak. I'm thinking of getting a acrylic tank to replace it. Probably tencor, but i may have a equipment problem with the way they have their lids( top of the tank). I just recently started getting into salt water tanks,so i'm not really knowledgeable with them. i was running a Berlin Red Sea Hang on skimmer. I was wondering if there is a way i could put that hang on under my tank in the stand. I do have a extra 30gal tank to use. One ques is what would happen if the power went off the tank would drain out correct?Is there anyway to do this? The only things i'm running is a canster filter (fluvul) and the hang on skimmer. I would like to get the skimmer out of the way. Please reply in detail. thanks

well, you know about sumps right? you should think about getting a ups (uninteruptable power supply unit). you can get a 750va unit for about a hundred bucks. it can run a tank for about 30-45 min without the lights on.
