Tank Size

I raised freshwater fish a few years ago and now I'd like to get into saltwater fish and sharks. Need some advice on tank size. Should I get a smaller aquarium or go ahead and get a large tank and start out with smaller saltwater fish?

well if ur gonna go w/ sharks get atleast a 180, tho preferably a 240-300, get some shark compatible fish (basically no angels, wrasses, triggers, puffers, or really mean eels) wait for the tank to get established (10mos-a year) have a really good skimmer (rated for like 3 times the tank size) a nice refug w/ lots of lr, clear swimming space for him as well as some caves

If this is your first saltwater tank, I wouldn't recommend keeping any sharks. I would go with a fish only tank.

I would start smaller than a shark JMO
