Have you set up your tank yet? If not the best would be a tall tank, unless you decide on dwarfs which would need a smaller tank. First off, What experince do you have with saltwater tanks? Then I would suggest doing a lot of research first. The way you set up your tank will depend on what type of seahorse you want.
You have come to a good place to start. I would suggest reading through the posts on this forum and also go over to seahosre dot org and do some reading. Their library has lots of good info and they are dedicated to seahorses. Good Luck and have fun learning.

29 gal should be fine for one pair. most recomend a tank that is 3x the length of adult horse. kuda 4 to 7 inch and erectus 5 to 8 inch. Mustangs ?? kuda or erectus. Do you plan on breeding?? if not then get two females. try not to pack it to tight with live rock, leave some open space for swimming and exploring with plenty of hitches.
