Tank's rim/support structure durability contest?

I am heavily consider to buy a either 75 or 125 gallon tank to replace my 55 gallon. At my lfs there is two different brand All-Glass and another one sorry I didnt pay attention but this one definately is proudly handmade from Texas.
All-Glassbrand....It have center connect with the rim. A thick durabilty center to keep it from bow. For 125 gallon it have two braces attached to rim.
v.s.
Made from Teas-brand....the rim do not include or have any center brace connect with the rim! The glass (about 1/4 inch deep and 10 inch wide are attached between center (side/side) My concern.... The sealant may will wear out as time goes by then breakage is likely?
Which one should I buy tank that have center brace built in with the frame rim or glass supported brace?
Thanks

Get the one with the frame. All tanks over 3 feet should have some kind of center brace.
I would skip the "handmade" tank but of course I had a 300 gallon "handmade" tank fail on me. You do not want the seam to split on a tank full of water.
Go with the AGA. You will also get a warrenty against failure.

I agree,I also had a home made 125 with no center brace. It split a seam, and I could not repair it.I also wouldn't think 1/4 inch glass would hold back that much water. My new 130 is 1/2" thick, and it still bows in the middle.1/4 inch would burst before it was full.
