Tap Water Additive Suggestions?

I'm forced to use tap water due to my lack of $, what do you all suggest as a good additive to use with tap water? Right now I'm using "start right" but there are so many to choose from. Any suggestions?

"Prime" It's smelly but it's more concentrated so it doesn't make a big mess.

Not sure if spelled right but amquil is what ever one around here uses that doesn't use ro/di

I actually use 3 different detox chemicals for my tap water.
I am in Vegas and the water here is really bad.
Make sure whatever you use covers ALL the bases: Ammonia, chlorine, heavy metals, etc.
That is actually way I use 3 different ones, good luck.

If you guys have the Glacier water machines that are in front of most supermarkets, you can use that water. It is really cheap ( I pay 30 cents a gallon ) and is RO/DI/charcoal and a few other filters to get you really good water.
