target feeding

I have a Cynarina coral that is just starting to come to life again, it gave me a two week scare. When feeding this thing do I shoot the food on to it or put the food directlly in it's mouth? Also isn't this something that you feed once or twice a week?

what kind of food are you using, as this will ultimately determine how to feed it. if you are using a meaty food like krill or somethign then placing the food on the oral cavity of the coral is a must. if you are using a food in suspension such as dt's or marine snow or any other liquid food containing phto and zooplankton, i would get a pipett, and squirt some around the oral cavity, until the feeder tentacles come out and then continue this process until all the food is gone and all of your corals have been fed. you will be able to see the food stick to the feeder tentacles, and then the tentacles will be brought to the mouth.
good luck
