TBS Users - long term??

Ok, I've done alot of research and reading on the site here. I've heard all of the great stories abotu TBS rock and the amazing life that's on it when it first arrives and even the next 30-60 days.
I've read the pros and cons and really am leaning towards it. However, I mostly find posts from people who just bought it.
My question is - how is it 12 months down the road?? Is it still full of so much life then? i've read that alot of it dies off?

If you go to Reef Cententral you will find many threads with people who have had TBS from one month to a couple of yrs.

I bought TBS rock roughly 6 years ago and very pleased with it.....Lots of life on the rock....Wasn't pleased with shipping, but that wasn't their fault though. I don't agree with their package deals where they say you need "X" amount of sand for a tank......I'm not a DSB fan, so that's just me though, but all in all well worth the money, but yes check out the site mentioned and you'll see....
I thought they weren't shipping anything as of lately due to weather and all????
