techincal background question?

i wanna buy an oceanvision background for my 60 gal tank.
when it sayds 30"width (per foot) --- are they referring to the width as the vertical measurement or the horizontal measurement???
is that 30" high (up and down) or 30" across (left to right)???

I take it that your not going to paint the background onto your tank? You should really consider it. My tank is just big enough that I can't move it, and if I had a taped-on background that fell off, I could never put it back up. It's just something to think about.
