Ok, so I am going this route perhaps but am wondering about bulbs. My tank is a 75 gal 48" 21 inch deep and about 18 wide. I wanted the 4x8 tek lighting but they are 19.75 wide and being wider than my tank I thought that was not such a good idea unless it was hung about a foot above the tank ( I dunno about hanging lights and if that would be a better bet )
I am not sure which bulbs to choose as I want it to look nice. I am certain i can place anything I want into the tank with the 4x6 but will their be things I can not ? which would be the best light colors etc. Your opinions are welcomed looking for real people who know the lights and what to look for in this brand etc.
This is the specs I got off off a site.

I am sure I do not want the junky mid day lights so what would be the best solution run time etc on these and should I go with the 4x6 or 4x8 and hang the 4x8.
I wanted to stick with legs but these would have to be moved every time I wanted to feed or move a rock in the tank or get something out etc so I am thinking hanging is my only solution now.
