ive seen on tv for the last few weeks about a phone service that works with your computer for 39 dollars for first year, then 19 dollars after. sounds to good to be true. has anyone tried it

It does sound legit because you need to have internet anyway
I've heard a few things about it. I've heard that without cable internet the calls aren't very good at all. I've also heard that it doesn't work very well for long distance calls. There are a lot of bad reviews on the net, but a lot of good ones as well. I think a lot of it has to do with your type of internet and the computer you are using. The software is also a big part. So make sure to research it well and take a free trial if you can.
