Tell me about chromis

I have 2 percs in my 29 and was thinking about getting a few chromis, is this a good idea?

I think that would be fine. I don't have any now but have had several in the past, good fish, well mannered, active.
If you put three more in the tank then I might stop there and not add anymore fish at that point, least not in that size tank.

Green chromis may look nice but sometimes even in groups of 3's some get killed, I have several friends that it happened too.

I agree. You should get at least three and then you're out of options for new additions. Two percs and three chromis might seem a little dull to some.

Chromis are awesome when you have a big school of them. Otherwise, if they're outnumbered, they tend to swim near the surface of the water and totally boring.

Well I origanally had 3 chromis. The 3rd one was bullied by the other two and end up hiding and a couple days later dies. But the two that are left are very energetic, they swim around everywhere and their fun to watch feeding.
