i have 2 bags of live sand. i am about to get one more, and i am gonna get a bag of crushed coral or wutever it is for the ph. how does my filtration sound. rite now, i have a fluval 4, a fluval 2, and a powerhead 301. i am gonna get a fluval 304 this thursday and will put bio-balls in it, so it will also be a biological filter. i also have 2 dried corals and 2 5 pound live rocks. the reason i have only a little decoration is because i have a bunch of little fish, and one big one, the puffer. he eats big food and i dont want it to get stuck or hidden. he bights the rocks and corals alot, and he makes alot of noise at nite.(he lives in my room). o yea, here are my fish
a 8 inch puffer(golden phase guinea sumthin)
a baby yellow tang
half grown brown sailfin tang
2 inch huma trigger
2 blue damsels
one 4-striped damel
a half grown tomato clow.
i noe that seems like alot, but everyone is fed properlyy and gets along great. when the fish get bigger, i will get rid of the 3 damsels, & brown sailfin tang.
i will keep my puffer, clown, huma(as long as possible) and maybe the yellow tang until he is full grown. (tanks is a 55)(no inverts).

most people on here will agree to forget about the CC. i used it and am going to change over to just LS. the CC is tough to keep clean and can cause your nitrates to climb. you may want to think about a good skimmer and a DSB, 3-4", with your LR. a DSB makes a great biological filter. ive also been told that the canister filters are nitrate factories, i dont run one so cant confirm weather or not it is true but it makes sense to me seeings that you can trap quite a bit of unused food in the filtration. i would forget about the new filter and get yourself a nice skimmer. you may also want to pick up another power head for some better water current. im sure someone will elaborate on the answers that i gave and correct any of them if there wrong.
