my lighting is an 18", 15 watt, fluorescent bulb.
its a CORALIFE 50/50. 50% natural daylight 6000k, and 50% actinic 03 blue. just incase it becomes a factor of your opinion.

yeah that is quite a bit for a 10gallon. you might want to take a couple fish back to the store. How long has it been setting up??

well, the tank has been set up for 10 months. i just recently had a whole tank wipe out, everything died. water tested fine tho. the guy at the store said that some of my cologne might have went in it, or some kind of chemical. maybe when the cleaning lady was cleaning the glass, what ever. anyways. i got the fire fish and the royal gramma yesturday, and the clown gobi and the percula clown today. they seem to be doing fine.
thanx for being honest. im gonna see how things turn out. im upgrading soon to a 29gallon or a 55 gallon. ill keep you guys posted on how things turn out.
also, my feather duster seems to not be comming out. maybe i moved it to much when i itroduced him to the tank? i can see through part of it and he is moving but, not comming all the way out. any possiblities?

You added to many fish too fast. You should add them of at least a week apart. This allows your biological filtration to catch up to your new bioload.

yeah, so your suggesting that i lay low for awhile? i guess your right. but i ust wanted some fish lol. i havent had any problems at all really, except that the royal gramma is a little territoial. its not attacking, but it opens its mouth very wide and sorta shows it off. but thanx for your opinion ty_05_f, you have been the most helpful so far :)

Actually, it takes well more than a week for your filtration to step up. EVERY time you add something to your tank, it recycles. No exceptions (unless it produces no waste) Most of the time, it is not measurable. Meaning, you never notice it with tests, but it is still happening. When I add fish to a tank, I go about a month between adding. That gives me time to watch for any signs of problems and allows that fish tro adjust to it's new home.
Your 10 gallon tank is well overstocked with fish. You might be fine for a while but it will catch up with you. If your upgrading, cool. But a 10 gallon is not big enough for all your fish.
