Temp gauges ?

I put all three of my digital temp gauges in one tank today because I thought one might be off and I was right 2 degrees. Do they just stop reading right? Is there one brand that is better then another? Thanks

I few degrees off means nothing..What matters is stability. You want it to stay the same. Most tanks should read the same if you have good circulation, otherwise the top will be warmer than the bottom.

understandable. It was reading 78 when the water was only 76. Like to keep them around 78-79, 76 is too low.

Not uncommon to find....As Flower pointed out the key is stability.....Since you know they are off you could bump your heater up 2 degrees.....
