Temp help

I have a 24 gal AP. It is quite warm in MD today and I refuse to turn my AC on since my heat just went off. My tank is getting quite warm. I have turned the temp on the heater down ut the temp keeps rising. I have my tank lid proped open with a fan by it trying to cool the tank down some. Does anyone else have any ideas?

i had the same problem here in pittsburgh yesterday, one of my tanks went to 84 and the other went to 86. i had to turn the ac on last night and today there back to normal.

the temp is slowly falling with the fan. I refuse to turn my air on when by wed is it gona be only 65. I guess the fan will have to work an when it gets cooler at night i will open the door and let the cool air in
