Well I am finally going to start my first fill up for my 180
, Just want to check an what is best for temperature before I continue, it will be a reef so I am not sure if that changes how high or low the temp should be. So what is the best temperature to stay at?

Well depending on what your keeping but a workable range is anywhere from 77 to 84. Most people stick around 80 and try to keep little to no fluctuation from morning to night light cycles.

I did a search on this subject last week, after getting my chiller plumbed in for my 55 gal reef tank and have settled on 79. After flirting with mid 80's before I got the chiller, all my corals seem so much happier at the lower temps!
You might need a chiller for your 180.
