My reef has been at 82.9for a week. Will this hurt the corals? Its always been 79. With the heat now its running higher.Whats the highest you run yours at?

Your pretty much at the recomended limit. I would run a fan over the surface of the tank or over the sump to try to get it down to 78-81.

save your money and get a chiller i keep my tank at 77

I agree, I would get a small clip-on fan and blow it over the top of the water.
