Tentacles - Mushroom Coral

Rookie question again. I was reading through the 125 - In Wall thread and noticed the thread with the SPS coral with tentacles of a majano anemone. I bought a rock with mushroom corals and lately I noticed a tentacle growing on it. They are clear looking tentacles, now can I take the whole rock out and scrap the tentacles off, will this harm the mushrooms at all, also there are a bunch or green button coral growing on it as well.

Do they look like this?

If so Aiptasia anemone. Bad stuff. Just scraping will only cause it to spread. Doing nothing will allow it to spread. Read up on this pest anemone as there are various methods to eradicate it.

Thanks spanko, I will try to get a picture tonight after work, they don't have a base like this one. They are pointy about 3/8" long.
