Territory Question

Hi, We just got 2 new Butterfly(Angel)Fish, My Corrin Angelfish is nipping at one of them and my Large Maroon Clownfish is protecting ALL the live rock from the 2 fish, Any suggestions? Is this territory? Should we be moving around the rocks so they can reclaim the territory? If we leave them would they reclaim the territory and work it out or will they fight? They are not fighting just nipping alittle and chasing eachother, will they stop? I REALLY NED A ANSWER!!! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!! :(

Can you provide mor info on the fishes you added? But usually it is impossible to kep multiple angles, and the smaller the tank, the lower the success rate. Maybe in a 250+ it might mork, but in anything under 150 the odds would be very low. Maroon clowns can be very mean, I have a huge female and she is just brutal. Yes try moving rock, leave it dark, and you may have to get a seperator or put one in another tank till you can return him. The nipping may or not stop - just depends on their anger level. They may never get along, till there's one or even 2 less fish in there. I keep 2 dwarf angles and one large angle in a 475, but i'd NOT try another of either type.
O - and welcome to the site!
I hope it levels out in there - keep us posted

They are getting better, Not really nipping, The clown is a-little territorial , I haven't moved anything and they are doing fine.
Infact you can check a video of all my fish on Youtube,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpDxgMgdXe0
I'm not really sure if it's a angelfish because the name is Auriga Butterfly Fish <--(The one that is being picked on) The one that is bullying him still is a Koran Angel, The Longnose Butterfly is doing fine(The other one that was being picked on before) he was actually with all the other fish in the live rock, It mite be because the new fish (Auriga Butterfly Fish) Is bigger than the clown and the Koran so they could be like this because the clown and the koran still want to be the big bosses
Keep me posted

OK - your new addition is not an angle, as you mentiond - it's a bfly so it should work....frequently multiple large angles fight badly in a small tank.
Your yellow tang really has a pinched belly - what are you feeding? and he needs more of it. what size tank is this? the title of the video says 60? PLEASE tell me there's at least a 1 or 2 missing from the front of this number..cause most of your fish even singley dont belong in a 60g tank.. do you have a sump/fuge?

Yes we have a sump, actually the yellow tang is a rescue, when we got it from the guy who gave it to us he said he got it for free it was all beat up when he got it, thats why he has no fins but it just makes him even more special :)
We got it looked at just incase and they said he was very healthy

Don't worry, We know it's small but we are hoping to upgrade in a-couple months, when they start to grow we are planning to get like a 250 gallon tank:))))

Who said that tang was very healthy? they either are blind or do not know wtf thay are talking about. in 10 years of keeping tangs mine never look like that - only when they show up from some vendor do they have a belly that shrunken....please get some PURPLE nori - the green is toasted and lacks alot of vitimains....the purple should be just dried - not toased....also get frozen foods like marine cusine, formula2, emerald entee, Rods H or C, some frozen mysis from PE or SBB...I own 6 tangs and none of them look like that.
Also - what are the dimensions of this tank?

Yup - it's a 60g, cause that's the title of his video. That many large fishes in a bucket like that will cause agression issues, stress, and poor growths. I can't imagine keeping tangs in a 60g, much less an emporor angel - that's a 12"+ long fish as an adult.
Why don't he get a shark or ray and be done with it?

Hey guys, I'm upgrading to a 125 gallon tank, I got lots of purple coralline algae in my tank :) When I made that video the tank was only 1 month old. I have some hair algae in the tank. My Hermit Crabs don't seem to clean it :( But there is some algae for my tangs to graze on now. I feed my fish Mysis Shrimp and my Yellow tang Still dosen't seem to get fat. Any suggestions?
