Do you have a skimmer???Is it working properly??? This could be disolved organics(fish waste) or excess nutrients...Try skimming it off with a coffee cup.Or point a powerhead across the surface of the water. That will mix it into the water and your filter will be able to pick it up...DID YOU SAY "10" DAMSELS??? You really need to get rid of about 9 of them...

First off they are a paticularily NAST little fish..Second,they are territorial, and mean..Third,,10 of anything is 9 too many in a small tank...They are taking up valubal space in your tank.Overcrouding is a factor here.Your tank is also young. You are flirting with disaster by overstocking a young/immature tank...

I will have to agree with the other.....there are wayyy to many fish in your tank for it being so new.....secondly if you are planning on introducing any other fish into the tank, I would suggest to remove the damsels, simply because they will pick poke and prod your other fish into death. Damsels are an extremly territorial fish that sometimes have to be removed. Be very careful right now, simple because you have a very highly loaded tank that could possibly be a cemetery very soon. By the way the filtration that you have seems to be adequate, you just have to many fish in my opinion.
