TerryB and Black Ich

Now is that subject line an eye catcher or what?
Terry, there seems to be an outbreak of black ich going around lately, and, while fish treatment has been pretty much covered by us, some hobbyists have expressed some additonal info. Like the lifecycle of the parasite, transmission mode, and does it leave the tank itself contagious?
You think you can post up some info on this?
