Such a cynic, Ed, LOL; however, I tend to agree with you. There are a lot of “visitors” to the BB, though, and new hobbyists. For those who are reading just to gain knowledge, such a topic may get newbies on the right track before they get settled into bad habits. And, I think, there are plenty of people out there who, after a disaster or 2, will be thinking more about QT, and, maybe a few die-hards will think about it, too---if I can get the advanced guys, like you, Terry and Frank to contribute and give insight. Its a worthy topic, I think...or is “What fish should I add next?” the way to go with topics??
BTW: Remember the clownfish I had awhile back? Well, whatever it was cleared up, after I lost 1 of the pair. The survivor was doing fine until last evening when I saw a re-emergence of the problem. Mind you, no fish have been added to this tank; this is the only fish in the tank. Its not ich. Flukes maybe? So few tiny specs its hard to discern their character. The parasite burrows in skin though.
