I had posted on -- about feeding my copperband butterfly and saw a response by you. I had tried frozen foods but no luck until I bought live clams at the grocery store.
My question is can I freeze the clams to make them last and still have the butterfy eat them?
Another question is: Will the fish be getting a balanced nutrition from only eating the clams.
Finally: I just crack them open and drop them in the tank. Am I intorducing too much food into the tank which will result an any negative side affects? It usually takes 18 hours to be picked clean.
Tank is a 75 gal tank with 35 or so lbs of LR, 4 in DSB, BIG skimmer, 1 copperband butterfly, 2 clowns, and a clean up crew. 20 hermits, 3 emerals, 2 brittle stars, 2 serpent stars, 4 fighting and 3 queen conch's, and 3 pepermint shrimp.
Thanks
Matt
