test for copper

i have fish only acrylic tank.i put copper in about 5 months ago. i never let it run the full 30 days (no disease that i can detect).i did a dry tablet test and it shows no copper present. is there any living thing that i can put in the tank to see if there will be any problem with copper in the future? i have a strawberry crab and hes lived through it!!???

If your crab has survived,chances are pretty good that the tank is safe.Inverts are most suseptable to copper.If you still have doubts,add a couple more small inverts and see if they live...What exactly was the name of this copper treatment you used???If you only have one crab in this tank,,,Why did you treat with copper???If there are no fish in a tank,the parasites will die without treatment in 3-4 weeks on thier own.

i have 1 gray angel..1 niger trigger..1 naso tan 1 flame hawk..1 brown scopus...1 coral beauty...1 rainbow wrasse..the niger had ick. the product i used was copper safe. thank you
