I'm wanting a test kit of my own now so I don't have to keep going to the LFS for testing. Which one(s) should I look at? Which are better and do a good job? Are they all the same? Also, how much approximately would it cost me? Thanks.

it was $35 even at my LFS to get a test kit wich has everything you need mian test ammonia , nitrites , ETC... it has also has 4 glass test tubes a booklet to tell you how test the cards for maching colors to see the levels and some trial stuff for your tank and the name of it is SALTWATER MASTER LIQUID TEST KIT and it's a blue box with some yellow on it and a regal tang on top of it (pic of it) and i have no idea what my cal. test is

I personally like la motte tisting kit supplies. I got the professional outfit tests for alkalinity, ammonia nitrogen, carbon dioxide, dissolved oxygen, nitrate nitrogen, nitrite, ph, salinity. It comes in a black carrying case and all of the testing compnents, chemicals everything, fit securely in a pre cut stirafoam ******** base. 53 items are in it.
It's more than you're probably looking for though. It is 325.00 plus shipping. Once you actually own it, to refill every testing material it only costs you 95.00 plus shipping. If you oan on doing this awhile the initial cast is high, but the over time value is very good.
Not only that, everything stays organized.
Good Keeping...
