What is a good test kit? I have been using the fast test kit,by aquarium systoms but it seems latlely the powder form that comes in the packet is all clumped together like it had gotten wet at sometime or another.
how is the salfert test kit? any suggestions would be greatly appricated thanks.

I use the Dry-Tab MASTER test kit. It uses tablets so there's no measuring or anything. It also explains everything in detail what you need to do and what to look for. Cost $36.99. You get 20 tablets of each: Ammonia, Nitrate, Wide Range ph and Nitrite.

i used the dry-tab test kit too. it was ok, but just seemed pretty cheap, and wasnt accurate, i always had ammonia according to it. i know use the hagen liquid test kit. i like it about a hundred times more. it cost more, but to me is extremly worth it. it comes in a nice case and everything.

I have a FasTest kit I bought from the lfs. I think I paid around $45. Tests Nitrates, Nitites, Ammonia, Ph, and one more I cant think of. Had no problems with it so far, results seem accurate.
